Cautionary Tales – The Fourth

It’s October, the scary month, with a Super Harvest Moon and giant skeletons appearing in front of every other McMansion. And with all the frightening things on the news both morning and night, I think it’s time for another Cautionary Tale.

Just remember, strange things are happening.

Oswald, please stay at home in bed!

  1. Dear Julie, I’m glad you turned out okay in spite of your grandfather. I’ve read several accounts of what he did, including May Dixon Thacker’s 9-part article in Liberty Magazine, as well as your grandmother’s Installments that you transcribed and annotated. Thank you for doing that. I’ve been fascinated by events that occurred in the 1920’s and 30’s.  Take care! Sincerely, Larry AchesonPlano, Texas

    1. Thanks, Larry! The older I am, the more I wonder about the impact of genetics on my life. I was sheltered as a child from most of Gaston’s story. It’s been fascinating to explore it as an adult. Best regards, Julie
